Rs.500 and Rs.1000. Once we see or hear them now, first thing comes to our mind is that we currently don't have them or having them as a mere paper. Recently our PM Mr.Modi announced that the current 500 and 1000 rupee notes won't be valid and new notes of 500 and 2000 are to be introduced to tackle black money issue in the country. Due to this sudden announcement many middle class and above middle class were affected as they were and are not able to exchange the notes due to shortage.

Paytm has come with an new option to tackle this problem for it's users by introducing "Nearby" option in the app. So How does this Nearby option work? With this option you can locate the nearby merchants in and around your area who accepts paytm money for your shopping. According to the company, there are 200,000 merchants listed under the Nearby feature and 800,000 more merchants will be added soon. That makes your shopping easy without worrying about the current problem with 500 and 1000 notes that you have.
Also, the app provides "Add Cash" option which displays ICICI and Axis bank branches in that particular area, where one can get cash loaded onto their Paytm wallets.
How to make use of this Nearby option? :
1 . Download or Update your Paytm app or Download it from HERE or use the website HERE
2 . Now you will see the option "Nearby", Click on it
3 . Now it will display all the Merchants near you who accepts Paytm cash
4 . Travel to the Merchant you wish and do the shopping
5 . Make the payment with your paytm cash at the counter by Choosing "Pay" option in the App >> Scan code or use the "Show code" option
6 . Done !!
