About the book-

In A Thousand Splendid Suns Epz Ed, Khaled Hosseini shows you how the most contradictory people can be brought together when circumstances demand it. He takes it even further by showing you how this surprising connection between two people affects the following generations. Focusing on Afghan society, we see the role the Taliban played in disrupting people's lives in the region bringing out the best in some of them.

The author brings out the virility that emerges from a woman when the lives of her family members are at stake. Hosseini shows you that just the remembrance of love can bring out the altruistic nature in a woman. A Thousand Splendid Suns was published in 2013 and is available in paperback.
