From the last few days, Chennai has been facing heavy rains - The rains which broke 100 year old records and the result is Floods which are affecting both men and material in many areas of the city. People's homes are filled with water, the flights and trains have been cancelled and almost 300 people have died so far :(

The app LookUp has collaborated with the volunteer-organisation Bhumi to coordinate donation pick-ups.
5. Social Media
Social Media has really been a boom during the tough times in our country.

People come together to help the needy ones on twitter.
If you can help in any way, then use hashtag #ChennaiRainsHelp and can offer or request shelter and aid.
b) Facebook
